How Roamies handles your data

We collect the information you provide directly to us, including your name, email address, profile details, trip information, itinerary notes, tasks, bookings, budget entries, and content you add while planning a trip.

We also collect technical information needed to operate the app, such as authentication data, device and browser information, log data, and usage events that help us keep Roamies reliable and secure.

We use your information to provide the Roamies service, including account access, shared trip collaboration, notifications, syncing features, and support.

We may also use information to improve the product, troubleshoot issues, prevent abuse, and comply with legal obligations.

Trips on Roamies are collaborative. When you invite other people to a trip, they may be able to see and edit the trip details, itinerary items, budgets, tasks, bookings, and other content shared within that trip.

You are responsible for deciding what information you share with your travel group.

If you choose to connect Google Calendar, Roamies accesses the permissions you authorize in order to create, update, and manage trip-related calendar events.

Google account data is used only to provide the calendar functionality you request and is handled in accordance with Google's API policies. You can disconnect this integration at any time from your Roamies trip settings or your Google account permissions page.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only as needed to operate the service, such as with infrastructure, authentication, hosting, storage, and calendar providers that help us run Roamies.

We may also disclose information when required by law, to enforce our terms, or to protect the rights, safety, and security of Roamies and its users.

Roamies may use service providers and infrastructure located outside Indonesia. By using the service, you understand that your information may be processed in other countries where our vendors operate, subject to appropriate safeguards and operational needs.

We take reasonable steps to work with providers that support secure handling of personal information.

We retain information for as long as needed to provide the service, meet legal obligations, resolve disputes, and enforce our agreements. We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational safeguards designed to protect your information.

No method of storage or transmission is perfectly secure, so we cannot guarantee absolute security.

You can update your profile information inside the app, remove shared content you control, and disconnect optional integrations such as Google Calendar.
